Kola Nuts otherwise in Jamaican colloquialism called 'buisy', is obtained from the Kola Nut trees.
The pods are allowed to ripen on the tree and fallen to the ground. After fallen to the ground, they are collected and store in the pods until the pods begin to deteriorate before its finally open, then washed and sun-dried. The reasoning behind allowing it to stay in the pods after collection, is to allow the maximum amount of caffeine required by the end-users to be developed.
