The Quassia Chips are produced from Jamaican Bitterwood which is harvested ,debarked and then chipped into uniformed sizes that conformed to the specifications requested by our customers. Jam Row has a manufacturing capacity of over 200 tonnes annually, which can be exceeded if demand requires it.
Quassia Chips are shipped out mainly in 20 and 40ft containers to destinations mainly in U.S.A. and Europe. Once the chips are chipped, the drying process is mainly solar but in the rainy season, drying is done by using Propane Gas Heater. The chips are normally yellow or have an off - white colour.
